No cross-contamination
Each sample is individually connected to the vacuum cover. The vapor is transferred in grooved channels to prevent cross-contamination to the adjacent samples.
Environmentally sound
The vapor is transferred via a ribbed PFA vacuum tube to the condenser assembly (cold trap or coiled condenser) and collected in a receiving flask for recycling or environmentally friendly disposal. An optional post-pump condenser prevents any contamination of the atmosphesere even in case of mishandling, i.e. too low vacuum. In contrast to nitrogen blow-down techniques, evaporation in vacuo is in compliance with the ISO 14000 certification, denoting the smallest possible negative impact on the environment.
P+G coating
PLASTIC+GLASS (P+G) is a unique protecitve layer for all glass components under vacuum. It offers imporved mechanical damage resistance and increases protection against broken glass. It also makes sure that the solvent in the receiving flask is not spilled in the event of damage.
Safety shield
An optional transparent polycarbonate safety shield prevents additional protection in the event of explosion or implosion.
